Short Term Trips with long term relationships

why world servants is different from other organizations

Below you'll see communities around the world. We have worked hard to cultivate gospel centered and culture honoring relationships in these communities.

In order to serve sustainably, we believe our primary point of contact should be a local, gospel centered church. Our goal on each trip is to support and encourage the pastor and leadership team in their ongoing effort to love the community through sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Costa Rica

Costa Rica is widely regarded as one of the most environmentally-friendly and joyful countries in the world. Its stunning beaches, rainforests, and diverse wildlife are renowned worldwide. However, there are certain communities in the country that do not receive adequate support from the local government. An example of such a community is Playa Azul, located on the Central Pacific Coast. Residents of this community face a variety of challenges, including unemployment and poor living conditions.

Dominican republic Consuelo

Advance Mission partners with dedicated leaders in the Dominican Republic to bring meaningful change to their communities. In Consuelo, Pastor Juan Rondon and his wife, Dr. Gavina, lead Iglesia Gracia De Dios and provide compassionate care through a newly built medical clinic. In Villa Hermosa, a borough of La Romana, Pastor Santiago of Iglesia De Dios Fuente De Luz has spearheaded transformative projects like a school, water purification facility, and eye clinic, with support from Fundación Mi Refugio Eterno. These partnerships foster hope, health, and opportunity for future generations by addressing both spiritual and physical needs

Dominican republic Villa Hermosa

Advance Mission partners with Pastor Santiago and Iglesia De Dios Fuente De Luz in Villa Hermosa, La Romana, to bring lasting transformation to the community. Together with the support of Fundación Mi Refugio Eterno, initiatives such as the Villa Hermosa school, a water purification facility, and an eye clinic have been established, providing hope and essential resources for local families. Teams are safely housed at a mission center in Villa Hermosa, with meals prepared by local hosts, offering a true glimpse into the culture. Whether you join a trip or support from afar, your prayers are vital—for the advancement of the gospel and for families receiving care to be open to hearing about Jesus.

Kenya

Advance Mission has been leading mission trips to Kenya for several years, focusing on two key areas outside of Nairobi: Utini Girls High School and Iviani DEB primary School in Mitto Andei. Both communities face similar challenges, as they are located in rural Kenya where the average annual income is approximately 30,000 Kenyan Shillings (around $230 USD). These trips offer a unique opportunity to serve both the children at the schools and the residents of the surrounding communities, providing much-needed support and building lasting relationships.

Brazil

Advance Mission partners with One Challenge International in Brazil, with a primary focus on spreading the Gospel and assisting the communities. Our current project in Ariri entails the construction of a refrigerated facility, which will directly benefit more than 15 households of local fishermen and contribute to the village's economic growth.

Del Rey Medico
DOMINICAN REpublic

Del Rey Medico has two clinics.  The clinic in Batey Margarita is staffed by Dr Benjamin.  The clinic in Consuelo is staffed by Dr Quinterio and her nurse, Wanda.  Both clinics provide basic medical services, similar to a primary care office here in the US.  They also provide basic medications to the patients they serve.  The doctors work closely with pastors supported by Del Rey Ministries.  The pastors assist in identifying people who need medical care, and as a means of transporting medications to patients between clinic visits.  The doctors and their nurses also provide much needed health education, by visiting the villages and holding health education seminars.  Topics covered include basic dental hygiene, feminine hygiene, child health, and screening for hypertension and diabetes.
