Advance mission

Advance Mission is excited to introduce our global partnership initiative, “Advance the Mission.” Below you’ll find a brief overview of our medical mission partners, along with our ministry partners serving in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica Kenya Mitto Andei and Guatemala.

Del Rey Medico

Del Rey Médico is a charitable medical ministry serving impoverished villages in the sugar-cane region of the central Dominican Republic. Through two clinics, it provides vital care to patients from roughly 20 villages in the Consuelo and Hato Mayor regions.

my Eternal Refuge

My Eternal Refuge partners with the community of Villa Hermosa in the Dominican Republic to provide education, healthcare, clean water and hope through a school, medical clinic, water-treatment plant and church. Started in 2005, the project serves children of Haitian and Dominican families in a region of deep poverty and invites supporters to sponsor a child, join the work, or give toward ongoing programs.

Christian Camp in Costa Rica

Iglesia Bíblica Playa Azul and its Christian Camp in Costa Rica serve as a hub for gospel-centered ministry and outreach. Founded by Pastor Eduardo “Chespi” Sandoval in 2011 and now led by Pastor Álvaro Poveda, the ministry equips mission teams and local churches to transform lives and communities along Costa Rica’s Pacific coast.

Guatemala team

Guinder and Noemi Gonzalez are church planters and Mission House hosts in Barberena, Guatemala, partnering with Mitch and Amanda Muñoz and supported by a coalition of U.S. churches to advance the gospel in the local community and surrounding villages. Guinder also leads a community soccer outreach, using the game to build relationships and share Christ’s love, while Erin Webster supports the team administratively and through humanitarian and discipleship efforts in the region.

Iviani DEB Primary School in Kenya

Advance Mission has been leading mission trips to Kenya for several years, focusing on two key areas outside of Nairobi: Utini Girls High School and Iviani DEB primary School in Mitto Andei. Both communities face similar challenges, as they are located in rural Kenya where the average annual income is approximately 30,000 Kenyan Shillings (around $230 USD). These trips offer a unique opportunity to serve both the children at the schools and the residents of the surrounding communities, providing much-needed support and building lasting relationships.
