1. What is Advance Mission?
Advance Mission is a Christ-centered organization that partners with local ministry teams and communities around the world to bring hope, education, health, and the gospel. We serve in countries such as Kenya, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Guatemala, supporting schools, clinics, churches, and community outreach initiatives.
2. Who do my donations support?
When you give through Advance Mission, you are not simply supporting an organization—you are investing in God’s Kingdom. Your gifts go directly to ministry projects and local teams, helping children, families, and communities experience hope, practical care, and the love of Christ.
3. What are some of the projects Advance Mission supports?
- Kenya: School perimeter fence and administrative buildings to create safe, thriving spaces for children to learn.
- Dominican Republic: Dental clinic and supplies for students, staff, and the community, as well as school improvement projects.
- Costa Rica: Support for local leaders and Christian camps that provide discipleship and outreach opportunities.
- Guatemala: The Guatemala team leads church planting, soccer outreach, and community programs to meet spiritual and relational needs.
4. Who is leading the ministries?
The Executive Director of Advance Mission oversees and leads all ministry areas, working alongside local leaders to carry out each program.
- Kenya: Local ministry teams manage school construction and community projects.
- Dominican Republic: The local team at My Eternal Refuge oversees education, healthcare, and community development programs, supported by partner dentists from Pittsburgh.
- Costa Rica: Pastor Eduardo “Chespi” Sandoval and Pastor Álvaro Poveda lead church and camp programs in Playa Azul.
- Guatemala: Guinder and Noemi Gonzalez plant churches and lead soccer and community outreach ministries, with administrative and relational support from Erin Webster
