Guinder & Noemi Gonzalez

Church Planters – Solid Church Project

San Pedro La Laguna, Lake Atitlán, Guatemala

Guinder and Noemi Gonzalez have been married since 2018 and are joyfully serving the Lord together as a family. They are the proud parents of their daughter Isabella and their beloved pet Mia. Guinder studied Bible & Theology, Transcultural Missions, and Counseling, while Noemi trained in Counseling and Missions. In this season, Noemi is wholeheartedly focused on raising Isabella as a disciple of Jesus and nurturing their marriage. She also actively supports the ministry by leading Bible studies with women and discipling teenagers.
Together, their passion is to make mature disciples who multiply, so that many more people in the Lake Atitlán region can come to know and experience the true joy of the Gospel. Guinder is the founder of the Solid Church Project (SOLIDA), an initiative that creates and provides biblical resources in indigenous languages to help disciples grow to full maturity in their faith. Their vision is to plant a gospel-centered church that fosters authentic relationships, spiritual transformation, and lasting hope found only in Jesus Christ. As a couple, they are deeply committed to intentional discipleship and missional living.

Erin Webster

Administrative Coordinator

A graduate of Moody Bible Institute (2020), Erin focused her studies in Linguistics, believing God had been preparing her for international missions work since she came to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 15. Since then, she has felt a growing desire to proclaim the gospel and make disciples, with a particular burden for people around the world who have little to no access to the gospel as described in the Bible. She is committed to serving wherever the Lord leads. In 2024, her pastor connected her to ministry opportunities in rural Guatemala, and she moved there from her hometown in Pennsylvania in January 2025.
Ministry in Guatemala is tangible and needed. The villages surrounding Lake Atitlán lack many of the necessities of life often taken for granted in the United States. From humanitarian efforts to church planting endeavors, Erin provides relational and administrative support to the Gonzalez family while also serving villagers in the rural communities surrounding Lake Atitlán.
